DESCRIPTION:This Swapfest/tailgate will be held jointly with our friends in Clay County and possibly Nassau. The event will take place in the parking lot @ Journey Church. The event begins @ 0600 and wraps up @ 1200\, with everyone and everything clear of the parking lot NLT 1300. Anyone found there after 1300 will be fed to the Alligators. 🙂  The church is located @ 6225 Lake Gray Blvd accessible from I-295/Collins Rd or I-295/Blanding Blvd. Bring LOTS of cash and collect lots of new gadgets. We all need more stuff.

It is likely that radio operations will continue around the clock from 2:00 PM Saturday to 2:00 PM Sunday.\nWhere: Behind Hogan Road Baptist Church 8045 Hogan Rd\, Jacksonville\, FL 32216 THANK YOU HOGAN BAPTIST CHURCH!\nWhy:    To introduce new hams to operating HF Radio!\nTo learn and practice setting up ham radio gear in less-than-optimal conditions.\nTo learn new ham radio skills.\nTo Learn and to Practice Emergency Communication Skills!\nTo have fun\, socialize\, and to make eye-ball QSOs with fellow hams! \n \nImportant Stuff: \n\nThere are light poles with antenna support eyebolts and messenger ropes in numerous locations. These will pull an antenna wire up to roughly 25-30 feet. First come\, First serve.\nIf you have RF notch filters for HF frequencies\, they will be of benefit to you as there may be multiple stations operating on the same bands simultaneously.\nThere are numerous picnic tables under the pavilion. You may wish to bring a tarp to provide shade to you and your station equipment.\nBring water! It’s hot out there!\nWe will be operating under Special Event Call Sign K4D!\n\n  \nOther Important Stuff: \n\nWe will need a small crew with weed eaters and blowers to trim and clean up around the Ball Field Pavilion on Saturday June 20th at 08:00 – 11:00 AM.
