America will celebrate its 250th birthday, or Semiquincentennial, on July 4, 2026, marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
As part of the celebration, OARS will be operating from Radio Central as follows:

In addition, OARS and NOFARS members are invited to the celebration on the USS Orleck and Navy Pier. There will be food, music family activities, ship tours and folks can stay for the fireworks that evening. Mention Radio Group or Pat Geer and there won’t be a charge to attend the public event.
